Brama One Venture is a Venture Capital firm based in Surabaya, Indonesia. For this project, we were hired to create the Company’s identity and also as Design Consultant for their overall Brand.
The name Brama derives from the Hindu God Brahma. We envisioned the logo to possess the qualities of Lord Brahma’s four faces and four arms, hence the diamond square shape. These were the logo explorations for the initial phase.
After exploring multiple designs, these were the 4 logos that we thought were cohesive and presented them to the client. The client felt that the first one represented them the best.
To abide by Feng Shui beliefs, the client wanted to add diagonal lines that circle back to support the diamond squares, thus maintaining the balance of the diamonds.
We designed a small application icon that accommodated the lines on small media.
