Low Histamine ECookBooks

Design for Fact vs Fitness 2021

Design for Fact vs Fitness 2021

Soon after we successfully designed webinar presentations for Fact vs Fitness, Anita, the owner of the company, approached us with a project for her interactive book designs: Low Histamine Cookbook and Low Histamine Dessert Cookbook.

Digital Cookbook

Digital Cookbook

Low Histamine Cookbook was the first recipe book that Anita created in collaboration with other nutritionist scientists. It was aimed at helping people that are sensitive to histamine. She wanted a fresh and upgraded look for the cookbook, similar to what we previously did for her brand persona with the webinar presentation designs. Our team explored multiple designs for all aspects of the book, from cover concepts to table of contents, and individual recipe layouts.

Interactive User Interface

Interactive User Interface

Both books were interactive, but the UI designs had a slight difference. It was designed in a way that could help readers easily explore the pages of this recipe book by clicking on the different navigations listed in the “How To Navigate” section.

Heal with Sweets

Heal with Sweets

The design process for this book started with naming the book. We proposed multiple options such as: ‘Low Histamine Desserts’, ‘Heal with Sweets, and ‘Treats for Your Healing’. Almost immediately we agreed that the name ‘Heal with Sweets’ was both a little ironic and catchy. Perfect for this dessert cookbook!
